Mattituck-Laurel Veterinary Hospital, located in Laurel, NY on the scenic North Fork of Long Island is seeking a full-time small animal veterinarian for a well-established mixed animal practice (80% small and 20% large animal). We currently have 5 small animal practitioners and 1 large animal practitioner. Experience is a plus, but we will mentor a new graduate.

Established in 1994, we pride ourselves on practicing high-quality progressive medicine and providing compassionate care in a team environment.

What we offer:

  • Currently offering a $50,000 sign on bonus for candidate(s) with a start date prior to 12/15/24
  • Annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 (based on experience) with production-based bonus

Mattituck-Laurel Veterinary Hospital is located amidst the beautiful wine country of Long Island's North Fork where multiple farm stands and beaches abound. The North Fork offers quick access via ferry to Connecticut with easy access from there to all New England. We are close to LI MacArthur airport with easy access to JFK and LaGuardia International airports. There are multiple local towns by the water, wineries and breweries, horse back riding, sailing, fishing, and other outdoor activities. New York City is easily accessible via train, bus, or car. We regularly plan activities with our staff such as bowling, axe throwing, game nights, themed parties, as well as annual holiday and summer parties. Our family environment has kept staff with us for over 10 years, some having been with us since we opened in 1994.
