This is a beautiful practice that was opened in 2020 and has quickly become a part of this dynamic and cultural community. We are looking for a Medical Director who wants to put their stamp on a practice as well as the community. Interested but never led people? That's ok! Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients in accordance with medical protocols and standards of the clinic that you create.
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals, including veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
- Collaborate with the hospital manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional client service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care, client communication, and clinic profitability.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development among team members.
- Serve as a liaison between the clinic and the support center, providing feedback and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York State
- Proven experience in clinical veterinary practice, with a strong background in small animal medicine and surgery.
- Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving practice growth and success.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on veterinary medical advancements.
