THE ROLE

Zeta Global is seeking a VP of Sales to lead sales development and to oversee a managed-service media sales team. The VP of Sales/Client Partnerships will have 4-8 Directors reporting to him/her.

This position will work to promote our data-driven media to advertising agencies including both holding companies and independent agencies alike, with the intent of building and growing strategic relationships. In this role you will manage the sales process for your region from prospecting to close while ensuring excellent service and support to prospects and clients. The ideal candidate will be focused on monitoring lead follow-up for sales development and have a proven track record of meeting measurable sales goals. A successful candidate will have a contagious and insatiable desire to win and an inherent interest in the ad technology landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Craft and implement strategies to build and nurture relationships with holding companies and independent ad agencies, aiming for revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Agency Prioritization: Identify and focus on agencies and accounts that align with company goals and have high growth potential.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, operations) to create solutions tailored to agency needs.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a key advisor to agencies, helping them leverage your company's solutions for their clients' success.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong connections with key agency partners through regular engagement and collaboration.
  • Partnership Activation: Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to activate and maximize partnership agreements.
  • Market Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competition, and industry developments to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the company's offerings and the adtech landscape to effectively communicate value.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze metrics to gauge the success of partnerships and provide insights to senior leadership.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in sales, business development, or strategic partnerships within the media and Adtech industry, with a focus on agencies.
  • Network: Strong existing relationships within agencies and/or brands that fit our target.
  • Strategic Insight: Deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competition.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work across various business functions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Technical Understanding: Advanced knowledge of digital advertising technologies and platforms, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Communication: Excellent skills in negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated capability to lead and align teams of 4 or more.

COMPENSATION RANGE

The compensation range for this role is $200,000.00 - $350,000.00, depending on location and experience.
