Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

The locum tenens OBGYN opportunity in North Carolina -Duration: January 2019- On-going (90+ days, will consider extension and/or permanent conversion) -Shift: Thursday 7PM until Monday 7AM Details: * Call, Nights & Weekends (flexible hours ) * Inpatient only * Call Shared with providers * Not required to remain on-site during call, must respond within 30 minutes * Total inpatient census/day: 6 with 2-3 OB checks/day * No ICU/Critical Care Procedures * Do Not Run Codes * BLS & NRP Required * Procedures include: C-section, circumcision, pp tubals, vaginal deliveries, D&C & laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy * 3 labor rooms, 16 patient rooms & 6 NBN beds Hospital Information: * Level II Trauma ED * Medical ICU * Level 1 Nursery * GE Centricity Centralized Fetal Monitoring * Latest Stryker Towers for laparoscopic procedures * 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support * 24-hr Surgical Services available * Ortho available 4 days/week * Cardiology, on site 5 days/week * Critical Care via telemedicine * Psychiatry available * 24/7 Hospitalist programs (Med-Peds) Call or email for more details Assistance with credentialing provided Approximately 30-60 day timeline Travel, Accommodations, Housing PAID Malpractice- Covered If you (or someone you know) is interested in a diversified career opportunity, and a way to supplement income feel free to reach out.
