SPECIALTY: GENERAL SURGERY - BREAST (Secondary Specialty - Plastic) LOCATION: CALIFORNIA JOB TYPE: LOCUM TENENS JOB NUMBER : 47947 LOCUM POSITION DETAILS - CLINIC + CALL (Back-up) 8-hour guarantee Anaheim area, CA offers great outing for a day off: You can immerse yourself in the magic of Disneyland Park or explore the vibrant shops and restaurants at Anaheim GardenWalk. For a more relaxed experience, enjoy a picnic at Yorba Regional Park or catch a game at Angel Stadium. MUST have Extensive Breast Surgery Experience. Priority will go to bids with case logs included. DESCRIPTION: Availability offer: ONLY Full-time (20 SPM) - Seeking ONE full-time provider. Schedule: Clinic M-F (8a-5pm). OR time - fluid (depending on OR block availability). Call (Back-up) : The main clinician will take all the call but if she is unavailable some weekends, they may ask the locum provider to cover 24hr beeper call. * Daily average call frequency: one per day - may not even need to go in. PROCEDURES UPDATE : Required: - locum is ONLY REQUIRED to do Oncology Breast Surgery and Mastectomy/lumpectomy. * Including - including nipple, sparing mastectomy, participate in joint oncoplastic surgeries, sentinel note biopsy, and axillary dissection. Not Required to do: * Not: reduction mammoplasty * Not: Augmentation Mammoplasty * Not: Mastopex REQUIRED: * CA state license; active, unrestricted. * Board Certified - General Surgery; Board Certified - Plastic; Secondary Specialty - Plastics (welcome) * ACLS, DEA * Breast Surgeries in last 24 months : approx. 100+ * Fellowship - Breast Surgeon. (or) General Surgeon with extensive breast experience. * Facile Knowledge: High Risk and benign breast disease as well as survivorship.
