Join our team and contribute to delivering excellence in project management and execution. The Rail System Assurance Assistant will play a crucial role by ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of rail systems within the project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rail engineering, systems assurance, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Role Accountabilities:Develop and implement assurance processes for rail systems, ensuring adherence to safety, reliability, and performance standards throughout the construction and commissioning phases.Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with rail systems, developing mitigation strategies to address potential issues proactively.Ensure all rail systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices.Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure integrated system designs and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to systems assurance processes, including reports, audits, and compliance assessments.Oversee testing and validation processes for rail systems, ensuring thorough evaluations are conducted and results are documented.Implement and monitor quality assurance processes, ensuring all materials and systems meet project specifications and requirements.Provide training and support to project teams regarding systems assurance practices, tools, and methodologies.Required Qualifications:5 years of experience in rail systems engineering or assurance roles, preferably I large infrastructure projects. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) or a related field.Key Skills and Abilities:Strong understanding of rail system operations, safety regulations and industry standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.Familiarity with project management software and tools.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
