Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

Palliative Care opening near Indianapolis, IN * Indiana health system is recruiting a Palliative Care physician to provide care at their Geriatrics and Transitional Care facility * This exciting opportunity offers the ability to step into a well established program that includes outpatient and inpatient palliative care medicine. * Work alongside a Palliative Care APP who works 100% in inpatient palliative care medicine * The office also includes geriatric medicine and transitional care medicine which compliments the palliative care program nicely Position Details: * 231-bed regional referral hospital * Epic EMR * Vibrant inpatient program * Outpatient practice is located in the same department as Geriatrics Practice * Call rotation: Inpatient weekend call rotation * Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) * The Palliative Care physician is responsible to be the primary collaborative physician for two Palliative Care Inpatient NPs and a NP who serves at the transitional care provider within the outpatient clinic * The Palliative Care physician will be an alternative collaborative physician for two NPs who focus on geriatric medicine within the outpatient clinic * EKG Machine * Sophia-Flu * Covid Reader * A1C Compensation Details: * Competitive salary * Sign on bonus * Excellent benefits package with malpractice and tail coverage The Area: * International airports and access to urban amenities are within an easy drive to Indianapolis(about 60 minutes away) and Ohio options include Dayton, 45 minutes away, and Cincinnati, a 90-minute drive
