Nephrology Physician

Nephrologist Opportunity - Cooperstown, NY A progressive academic health system in central New York, and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Nephrologist to join their team. Position Details - Join an established group of 5 Nephrologists, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Registered Nurses. - 100% Nephrology practice, with responsibilities split between outpatient clinic and hospital duties at Bassett Medical Center (50%) and regional travel focused on Oneonta and Cobleskill (50%). - Call schedule: 11 weeks per year, from Monday 8 AM to the following Monday 8 AM. - Manage 30-50 follow-up dialysis patients and 10-30 follow-up transplant patients. - Potential for a faculty appointment from Columbia University, with daily interaction with medical students and Internal Medicine and Transitional residents. - Utilize the EMR system: EPIC.
