St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital Lavonia, GA Nursery Level I Pediatrics Coverage Dates: - January 20 (7 AM) to January 25 (7 AM) - March 16 (7 AM) to March 22 (7 AM) - On going coverage thereafter Responsibilities: - 24-hour call for Newborn Nursery - Patient volume: 1-2 patients per day, 1-2 admits per day - Procedures: Routine newborn care, placement of umbilical lines if a nurse is unable to place an IV, intubation of newborns.
