Surgery - General Physician

Opportunity: * Looking for about 1 week on/1 week off coverage starting in January * The position is to help with ED on call coverage * Providers will be expected to be on call for the ED and during their shift complete surgeries and rotate doing post op consults * Shifts for the APP's are 7a-3p, 11a-7p weekdays and 7a-3p shifts on the weekends * Looking for acute care surgery experience in candidates. * The APP is there to assist the surgeon. * If the provider is on call coverage and gets a call about an other urgent case, the APP be the first to be called to go assist and then the surgeon will join them * Occasionally the APP does help with post op consults if the surgeon is stuck in a surgery * There will be no clinic for this position Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
