Medical Physicist

Job Details

Medical Physicist works with Chief Medical physicist and Dosimetrist to support Radiation Oncology clinical and equipment QA program. Medical physicist is responsible for assuring the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy through participation in linear accelerator quality assurance, treatment planning, and consultation in accordance with AAPM standards. Responsible for communicating with physicians, radiation therapist, dosimetrists, office personnel and nurses as needed to improve and excel at patient care in radiation therapy

Required Qualifications

Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncology Experience: 3 years Certifications: BLS-AHA Weekends: as needed SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the ABR or ABMP Three (3) years of experience including IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery.
