Summary of Job Duties:
Greets guests, escorts them to tables, provides menus and arranges parties or special seating services for Friends. This job requires the Hooters Girl to interact with and entertain the Hooters customers. The essence of the job is based on socially acceptable female sex appeal. It is also required that the Hooters Girl attends and participates in company sponsored promotions to help ensure the success of the concept.

Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide a positive impression of the Hooters Restaurant by greeting Friends in a warm, friendly manner
- If guests have to wait to be seated, Hooters Girl at the Door are expected to make them comfortable while they wait
- Verify the age of all members in a group's party, in order to seat in age appropriate area
- Friends should be given an idea of how long they will have to wait
- If seating is available, the Hooters Girl at the Door may suggest that the diners wait at the bar and have a drink, if all members of the group are of legal age to consume alcohol
- Locate a table that is the right size for the Friends, take the Friends to the table, and give them menus
- Moves tables and adjusts seating for large parties
- Assist guests in seating small children, or fill their water glasses
- Wipes tabletops and chairs with damp cloth
- Sets tables with silverware and glassware
- Delivers food prepared in the kitchen to Guests in the bar and dining area
- Serves ice water and non-alcoholic beverages
- Take photos with Friends & Family Members
- Properly rotate seating among all Hooters Girl Food Servers
- Adhere to Hooters Girl Image standards at all times during shift
- Assist with Hooters wings2go
- Interacts with Family Members, Friends and Vendors in a professional and upbeat manner
- Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Guest Services related issues, problems and/or solutions
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Family Members and Vendors
- Ability to accept performance feedback in professional manner.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shift is considered an essential function of the job
- Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors and management

- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneeling, crouching, balance etc. for extended periods
- Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- One (1) year of experience in a restaurant as a Food Runner or Server
- Experience working in a similar resort setting
- Food Handlers Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- The position is trainable
- Beverage equipment, markers, dry erase sheets, cleaning cloths and sanitizer
