Banner University Medicine in partnership with the University of Arizona is currently seeking a Board Certified DERMATOLOGIST for an employed academic/clinical opportunity in Tucson, AZ. This role will consist of general dermatological/laser aesthetics clinical responsibilities and is 100% ambulatory. Excellent opportunity to join a supportive faculty team involved in medical education, including key teaching roles for medical students, residents and fellows.
This position is searching for a highly academic oriented individual, who is a team player and patient with learners. Join a growing dermatology division and practice, creating an exciting opportunity to lead the division in exciting directions.
Joining a NEWLY established Laser Center with more than a dozen Laser Modalities, Headed by faculty with over 4 decades of experience, and has been designated a Center of Excellence by the Candela Laser Company!

Job Description:
- General Dermatological and Laser/Aesthetics (A mix of consultations and procedures)
- Board Certified in Dermatology
- Valid AZ Medical License
- Research opportunities are available through ongoing collaborations with the College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Public Health, the Bioengineering Department, The Bio 5 institute, and the College of Optical Sciences
- Well supported clinical operation with competitive compensation and attractive opportunity to earn incentives.

- Faculty appointment is commensurate with experience.
- Experience preferred; Open to qualified New Graduates.
Work Schedule:
- M-F; 8 AM - 5 PM
- Practice Call Rotation - Consults Only. (Typically 2.5 weeks per quarter)
- Patient Load: 12 patients per session on average.

Qualified candidates will be considered for the AY25 Dermatology Residency Program Director position to direct the training of future dermatology physicians. The Residency Program Director will be responsible for residency program operations, curriculum, policies and procedures, maintaining ACGME accreditation, residency recruitment, and evaluations. The Director will also participate in oversight of the budget process and supervision of the program coordinator. Candidates must have an MD, be board certified in Dermatology, and have least three years of experience educating dermatology residents or fellows. Faculty appointment and compensation will be commensurate with experience.
The Advanced Dermatology Residency Program at the University of Arizona is a nationally recognized leader in education, training residents to practice at the highest level of dermatology. The ACGME-accredited residency program includes nine residents who have their primary clinical outpatient experience at Banner University Medical Center and VA with rotations on inpatient consults, dermatological and Mohs surgery, pediatric dermatology, and dermatopathology. The residency fosters a supportive environment where residents build skills in clinical dermatology across a broad spectrum of cutaneous diseases.
