Job Summary:
Manage all facets of region to attain sales volume goals and financial control targets as assigned within area of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Develop, train, and manage an effective broker and/or direct distribution network.
- Meet with key clients, assist brokers and distribution partners with maintaining relationships and negotiating and bringing on new business.
- Direct and maintain all sales forecasting activities as well as set performance goals accordingly for brokers and direct team.
- Manage customer financial management; to include promotions and marketing programs for all customers within geography. Manage trade fund program system and budgets with brokers and direct accounts.
- Communicate competitive market pricing, including price advances or declines for customers. Be aware of and react to competitive products and activities.
- Conduct all duties related to broker management.
- Maintain close communication with various Hood LLC departments to effectively manage business.
- Attend various trade-related functions that enhance account relationships and HP HOOD position in market.
- Reviews and monitors sales data; sales volume, share trends, pricing information, to assess business opportunities and threats.
- BA/BS Degree and a minimum of 6-8 years’ relevant experience required.
- Experience within CPG refrigerated food/beverage sales field preferred.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
