Compensation
The compensation target range for this role is:
$35.50 - $42.00
Job Summary
The Contracts Paralegal (CP) is a staff position reporting to the Deputy General Counsel in the Company. The CP also will work closely with the Company contracts team and internal business partners. The CP will have knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts, and experience drafting, reviewing, processing and tracking contracts through the full contract lifecycle. This person will work collaboratively as well as independently and will need to have strong interpersonal skills and be intellectually independent, a team player, and highly motivated. This person will handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. On occasion, this person will work directly with business clients.
Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, tracking contract deadlines and renewals, redlining and proofreading contracts, and managing contract execution and filing.
- Handle day-to-day operations of matter intake system, contract management software, legal databases and document folders.
- Draft, revise, help prepare and maintain various legal documents, including contracts, templates, reports, correspondence, presentations, and other ancillary documents.
- Assist in litigation processes, including discovery requests and tracking filings and deadlines.
- Collaborate on legal team special projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Education, Experience:
- Completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program
- Five or more years' experience as a corporate paralegal and/or contracts manager in an in-house or law firm environment or equivalent setting.
- Experience developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions (e.g., Microsoft O365, contract lifecycle management, document management systems and related workflow and content management platforms).
- Experience working in team settings.
