PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Oakland Park is seeking an energetic and professional Assembly Technician to join their Production Team!
The ideal Assembly Technician candidate will be working with the latest, innovative designed product by assembling, repairing, maintaining supply inventory, documenting, and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician:
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:30 AM - 5 PM.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
The ideal Assembly Technician candidate will be working with the latest, innovative designed product by assembling, repairing, maintaining supply inventory, documenting, and performing quality checks.
Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and bills of materials, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, bills of materials, work instructions, and other documents to accurately assemble products.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to jig board layout, using soldering guns and hand tools.
- Connects wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches, and solenoids, and installs accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering guns and hand tools.
- Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and plugs, using an ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by the Lead/Manager
- Must have advanced assembly experience.
- Must have great communication skills in English.
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical assemblies is a plus.
- Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical devices is a plus.
