Duties:
- Menu Planning: Create seasonal menus that highlight local ingredients.
- Food Preparation: Prepare meals for guests, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen staff, manage inventory, and ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Guest Interaction: Occasionally interact with guests to receive feedback and adjust menus as food allergies and intolerances arrive.
- Event Catering: Prepare meals for special events, such as weddings or group gatherings.
Hours:
- Typically, hours can be demanding. We are open mid June through September and serve breakfast from 8-9am and dinner from 6-7pm. Daily hours needed to get the job done may vary.
- Flexibility is important; you may need to adjust your schedule based on guest needs and lodge activities.
