Job Description:

As a L3Harris Senior Principal Cyber Engineer for L3Harris, you will lead multiple teams in support of cyber software capabilities development, integration, and testing in multiple disciplines including vulnerability research, embedded systems reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, system engineering, and data analytics.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and driving technical resolution to issues in a broad range of technologies (e.g., Linux, Windows, VirtualizationHypervisors, Mobile, and EmbeddedIoT systems), provide technical guidance to the program, and influence requirements and design of cyber capabilities.

 

Essential Functions:

Leadership Skills:

  • Ability to build effective relationships, energize teams, deliver results, and model ethical behavior.
  • Ability to foster strong partnerships and collaboration with customers and communities of interest.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) including an ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates, and other documentation, and represent L3Harris on significant program matters.
  • Experience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams.
  • Experience with interacting and or leading AGILE development teams.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems in all phases of the system lifecycle.
  • Experience with Systems Integration, test execution, and test results documentation.
  • Experience formalizing, developing, and writing requirements, plans, and procedures based on customer discussions, briefings, interactions, and statements of work.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience.
    • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
    • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Top Secret/SCI security clearance required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with RF or Telecommunications standards and processing techniques.
  • Experience with Design, Development, Integration and Test of complex Communication systems.
  • Experience in developing high speed processing hardware or complex control software.
  • Experience utilizing full system emulation for research and analysis.
