Unique Medical Director/Family Medicine role in the WI northwoods

We are looking for candidates interested in leadership, but want to emphasize that this is a quite relaxed Medical Director position. Administrative duties would be very minimal. Your practice will include outpatient and inpatient work, and you will be included in our ER call. We are seeking a Family Medicine physician who likes a traditional practice and who wants to do a little bit of everything. OB is not an option at this facility.
Job details
-outpatient, inpatient, and inclusion in ER call.
-two other physicians in practice, as well as 4 APPs.
-clinic seems 15-18 patients per day. ER sees 1500 patients per year. Call is 1:5-1:6, roughly. For call, you are not forced to stay onsite.
-we offer flexibility in your practice, your working hours, and your appointment times.
-we are a 25 bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI.
-in a Health Professions Shortage Area (HPSA), so you would qualify for many loan forgiveness programs.

Shell Lake is a small, rural community in northwest Wisconsin. If you love the northwoods, the great outdoors, and experiencing all 4 seasons, this is the location for you! You are 1.5 hours to Duluth/Superior, 1 hour and 16 minutes to Eau Claire, and 2 hours to the Twin Cities and their international airport.
