Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican (dhmf.org/dominican) is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our physician led, patient centeredorganization in Santa Cruz, CA, offering you flexibility and collegiality in a friendly environment. We are affiliated with Dominican Hospital (dominicanhospital.org), which has 222 beds, and we're aligned with one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.

Compensation/Benefits Include:

  • Compensation: $160,046 / year
  • Sign on bonus

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Treatment Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care across various settings.

Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Completion of state mandated educational courses
  • 24 hour In House call at hospital
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)

Pay Range
$76.94 - $76.94/hour
