The Position

You will focus on providing high quality patient care in Employee Health services in Tri-cities, WA. What is required? A love of the practice of medicine, critical thinking skills, acute diagnostic abilities and willingness to learn our unique system of practice. This position is perfect for someone with a family practice, emergency room, or urgent care background.

Requirements

A qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will perform the following functions:

  • CDL exams
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant should have the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER (preferred)
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant should have the following education/license/certification:

  • WA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License (Required)
  • BLS/ ACLS Certification (Required)

SALARY

$115,000 - $145,000 per year
