We are seeking a dynamic CSM Product Engineer to join the growing, goal driven Product Quality and Reliability team. In this role, you will drive IC component readiness for mass production. You'll analyze and tackle problems by identifying failure modes of affected material as it relates to analog and digital ICs. This Product engineer will support our Custom Silicon Management team and build strong working relationships with cross functional teams.DescriptionReview product development plan and drive execution including such as characterization, correlation, GR&R, etc.
Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to determine root cause of issues
Work with design, process, and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions on both new and mature products and technologies
Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications based upon design intent and characterization result
Perform statistical data analysis on mass data sets
Implement yield analyses and correlation analyses for all levels of tests, pareto building, statistics, etc.
Define characterization plan and generate characterization reportMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.Experience with ATE characterization and collected data from test programs.Experience analyzing Analog and digital IC evaluation reports.Preferred QualificationsAnalog and digital IC high volume manufacturing experience.Experience running statistical data analysis.Experience working with high volume product yield management.Ability to define and direct design of experiments for root cause determination.Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal team members and external suppliers.Prior product engineering experience for sophisticated system designs.Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
