This role is Hybrid (39 days per quarter in Austin office), if applicable, relocation assistance will be provided.What you’ll achieveOur team is responsible for ensuring Dell Technologies products are delivered to our customers as promised through a future-ready logistics network.  As a Senior Director, Trade and Compliance you will be responsible for managing our global trade and compliance operations to meet established performance goals and deliver best in class operational efficiency.  You will report to our Senior Vice President, Fulfilment and Logistics.You will:Provide expert direction and guidance to leaders, and key stakeholders, on global trade and compliance and execute on Dell’s Trade Management Program; oversee Dell’s export and sanctions policies and program elements; provide oversight for implementation of screening protocols covering US government and various international trade control regulations; advise on and support Government Affairs policy initiativesLead internationally distributed trade teams and champion the organizations transformation efforts to include the automation of systems and processesMaintain awareness of regulatory changes and ensure timely communication and implementation of new procedures and policiesManage the company’s export compliance risk assessment process to ensure effectivenessCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external regulators on US and global export control, licensing and trade compliance mattersTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements 15+ years global trade experience to include 10+ years in a senor leadership role, or equivalent skillExtensive knowledge and understanding of global trade laws and regulations to include: laws and regulations administered by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), understanding of Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) categories, Export License conditions/processes and Dual Use CommoditiesSkilled at defining and executing a global trade compliance strategy within a large, multinational organization (preferably in the technology industry)Exceptional ability to influence others, act decisively and with a sense of urgency; must be able to effectively drive internal and stakeholder decision-making in relation to regulations, actions and investmentsPossess a strategic and transformational mindset; must be forward-thinking with the ability to inspire innovation and embrace changeDesirable Requirements Licensed Customs BrokerMBADell Technologies is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
