Dental Hygienist

Our outstanding DIAMOND DENTAL practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs measurement
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking and developing dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management software
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection
- Provide assistance with medical coding and billing as needed

Qualifications:
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficient in medical terminology and dental office systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Familiarity with dental assisting duties is a plus
- Understanding of anatomy and oral health conditions
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
