In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic systems and support structures with a soldering iron or other hand tools to install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings. Openings are currently available on primary shift (6:30 am - 3:30 pm M-Th, 6:3012:30 Fri). Starting wage rate from $17.00 per hour, depending on experience. Place, wire, solder, and utilize hot soldering iron to connect and encapsulate PC boards and/or units. Test, label, package, and deliver to stockroom. Adjust, repair, or replace electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications. Read and interpret drawings, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions. Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly. Complete, review, and maintain production, time, and component waste reports. May confer with supervisors or engineers to plan and review work activities, and to resolve production problems. May explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
