POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Channel Manager - Retail will partner with Marketing, Sales, Product and cross-functional teammates to manage and execute strategic growth plans to drive demand for kitchen and bath products. The ACMM-R will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy while working closely with the sales teams developing successful roadmaps on promotional, digital, and point-of-purchase display programs to drive market share growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Obtain a full understanding of Globe Union's branded and private brand products, the industry, and channels of distribution.
- Assist the Channel Marketing Manager in developing the channel marketing strategies, inclusive of in-store and digital.
- Support the retail channel by executing marketing programs such as product commercialization, in-store point-of purchase (POP) displays, packaging, digital campaigns, and merchandising strategies to drive sales.
- Own the development and implementation of select channel marketing programs, campaigns, and collateral from conception through execution including project management, internal communication, and organizing sales and operational resources.
- Provide creative direction to internal team members on all marketing assets developed for the channel ensuring the team understands the purpose, vision and use case for each asset.
- Foster strong partnerships with sales and business unit colleagues.
- Seek out data and insights (industry, product, customer) to inform channel strategies and tactics.
- Develop channel knowledge by engaging in field travel and participating in and supporting industry events such as trade shows.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- 4-6 years of experience in a marketing role with an emphasis on retail/channel marketing required
- Understanding of the consumer buying journey, online and in-store preferred
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills are a must
- Capacity to work cross-functionally to complete projects on time and handle competing priorities at once
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective navigation within the internal organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Goal-oriented with high standards for quality and performance
- Flexibility to effectively work with others
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and work well as a member of a global team
