We will depend on your natural persona and special skills to assist in delivering excellent service to our guests by initiating warm contact, interactions built on sincerity, concern, and enthusiasm. Additionally, you will coordinate and be responsible for taking coats and managing a high-volume seating operation in a fast-paced environment while creating and maintaining guest profiles and preferences.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties) Including but not limited to:

In helping you understand your role in working for a world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors:
  • Greet, interact, and bid farewell to guests in a warm and genuine and enthusiastic fashion
  • Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment including stocking of supplies, polishing cutlery/glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitizing tables, etc.
  • Provide lateral service including assisting in clearing tables, carry plates to dishwashing area when needed
  • Maintain guest profile, preferences in a database for distribution to staff
  • Be a team player!
  • Other duties as assigned
WHAT IT TAKES (The Qualities We Look For)
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • High school or equivalent education required
  • Additional foreign language preferred
  • Current Foodservice Handler Card valid for minimum of 6 months
  • 1-2 years in a guest service position
MUST HAVE'S
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests in English
  • Experience using a computer to effectively access, understand, and input customer information.
THE WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Stand throughout an eight-hour shift.
  • Move effectively and efficiently throughout the restaurant.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds to carry stacks of menus or help to clear tables as necessary.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of smoke, sound, and crowds. You may encounter pet hair/dander
  • Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties
