Medical Center, the first Blue Zones Certified Employer in the Northwest, is recruiting for Hospitalist Physicians. This is an employed physician position working in a community of 52,000 and serving a population of 110,000 patients.

• The schedule is 7 12-hour shifts on, and then 7 off.
  
• Open ICU.
  
• Resident teaching available through Family Practice residency program.
  
• 176 bed hospital

Physicians employed by Medical Center are eligible for our employed physician benefit package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Long Term Disability insurances, Paid Time Off, CME Allowance, and Retirement Savings plans. Medical Center uses MGMA to determine salary ranges for our vacancies.

The city is located at the base of the beautiful Cascades Mountains. At 4,200 feet above sea level, it offers four seasons, mild climate, affordable housing, arts and theater, and is home to Oregon Institute of Technology. The community is easily navigable, with brief commutes. To travel farther afield there is an International Airport about an hour's drive away.

Recreational activities abound in the outdoors. World-class fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, ATVing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc., are all available and frequent hobbies of the community residents.
