The Royal Caribbean Group's Royal Caribbean International brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full AE, Brand PR Content & Communications reporting to the Marketing team.
This position will be working on-site from Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:

This role is for motivated professionals interested in contributing to the implementation of impactful public relations programs that are designed to create and maintain a favorable public image for the world's largest cruise line. Royal Caribbean International's Account Executive of Brand PR Content and Written Communications should be a dedicated communications and public relations professional skilled in public relations writing, capable of both assisting with and leading projects to bring to life dynamic storytelling through content in the form of video, photos, graphics and more. The team member will focus on several professional areas and activities, including written brand communications, public relations, storytelling, content creation, agency relations, executive communications and event production support and staffing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development of written communications, such as press releases, executive communications (internal and external letters, speeches, etc.) and media statements.
- Assist in concurrently executing on multiple strategies to create impactful global visual content for Royal Caribbean International, subject matter experts, products & services, and events.
- Contribute to the creation of videos, photos, infographics and more in partnership with video editors and designers, and independently develop and execute innovative content strategies that support business priorities and media relations efforts.
- Support the development of other brand and communication assets as needed
- Assist in updating and maintaining the company's online press center.
- Help to guide the work of external agencies and in collaborating with internal teams as needed.
- Contribute to reviewing analytics on content performance to help inform actionable insights and learnings for future content recommendations/improvements.
- Foster productive professional relationships with internal stakeholders to collaborate on opportunities that support company initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends and shifts in travel, the cruise industry and content.
- Occasional travel.

- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent, directly related experience required
- Highly skilled in writing and crafting communications for public relations purposes (press releases, etc.). Story narrative, editorial content and message creation experience is a plus
- 3-5 years of PR agency, public relations, journalism or corporate communications experience
- Ability to think creatively and outside of the proverbial box
- Strong planning capabilities to help identify and prioritize multiple projects at once as well as to meet the deadlines required to support communications and business needs
- Understanding of social media, influencers, emerging media and content trends
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel as appropriate (domestic & international)
- Experience in travel industry and working for a global company ideal but not essential
- Strong ability to interact with senior leaders and build effective relationships within the company, agency partners, public, guests and media
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Goal-oriented and action-focused, practical, and self-disciplined
- Excellent research, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to assist in cross-functional teams
- Effortlessly organized self-motivator
- Excellent relationship builder that will create, foster and leverage relationships to achieve outstanding results.
- Strong project management, planning, evaluation, and analytical capabilities
- Experience with organizing and maintaining project management tools is a plus
- Understanding of content management systems is a plus
- Ability to evaluate and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly analyze situations and alternatives and make prudent suggestions to reach decisions.
- Finger on the pulse - up to date with trends, both inside and outside the cruise industry
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
- Outstanding English language proficiency. Proficiency in Spanish desirable.
