Position Overview:

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and executing targeted email marketing strategies to enhance lead conversion and increase member engagement. This position is integral in crafting personalized customer journeys and optimizing automated communication channels, effectively engaging both current and potential members. By leveraging the capabilities of Marketing Cloud, the Specialist will focus on driving conversions and fostering long-term membership loyalty through innovative and data-driven marketing initiatives.

Working remote or in a hybrid capacity is possible at managements discretion - Candidate must reside in the State of Idaho. Some travel may be required.

Essential Functions:

- Develop and execute targeted email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, focusing on customer journey optimization and analytics reporting.

- Analyze campaign performance data to refine email marketing strategies aimed at driving conversions, attracting new leads, and enhancing member loyalty through effective cross-selling.

- Monitor campaign performance with detailed tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), including impressions, clicks, web visitors, and revenue-generating activities.

- Closely work with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business goals and meet customer needs, fostering collaboration for cohesive execution.

- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in demand generation, email marketing, and digital marketing technologies to enhance campaign effectiveness.

- Create and implement demand generation plans that align with organizational objectives, utilizing insights to understand members, products, and the buyer's journey.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to design optimal customer journeys, including implementation of copywriting, branding, and content development.

- Present campaign results and obtain buy-in from upper management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.

- Evaluate and maintain marketing databases and software to ensure optimal usability and effectiveness.

- Create and analyze customer personas to address specific needs and preferences, enhancing targeted marketing efforts.

- Leverage marketing automation tools to streamline email marketing campaigns and improve efficiency.

- Provide exceptional service to internal and external members, ensuring a positive experience throughout the engagement process.

- Understand and comply with all Credit Union Policies and Procedures, State and Federal laws and regulations, as well as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.

- Complete other assigned responsibilities that align with the position.

- While email marketing will be the primary focus of this role, other demand generation tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the overall marketing strategy of Frontier Credit Union.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

-Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

-At least 2-4 years of marketing experience, preferably executing some of the same tasks to be managed in the role, such as Journey development within Salesforce Marketing Cloud

-Proficient in managing WordPress websites and implementing effective digital strategies.

-In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, particularly in email marketing and journey mapping.

-Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret marketing data and derive actionable insights.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on creating engaging marketing content.

-Experience with CRM and marketing automation software

-Experience measuring the effectiveness of demand generation efforts through KPI's

-Marketing software tools

-Operate a computer with proficiency of MS Office Suite of products. Excellent knowledge of report software and processes

-Strong attention to detail

-Professional appearance, dress and attitude

-Able to coordinate and cooperate well with others

-Understanding of member services and products provided

-Performs related clerical duties as required

-Communicate with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy in person and over the phone

-Perform job functions independently with limited supervision; work effectively on own and as part of team

-Ability to read and carry out various written instructions and follow verbal directions

-Must remain composed in stressful, high-pressure situations. Calmly and professionally handle different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of member service

-Demonstrate extreme accuracy and quality, effectively handle multiple tasks and changing priorities, and exercise highest level of discretion on both internal and external matters

-Reports to work regularly; maintains reliable and timely attendance. Available to work the days and hours as dictated by business needs

-Must successfully pass a background/credit check

Physical Requirements:

Bend, sit, or stand to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion; occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. Operate routine office equipment including computer terminals, keyboards, telephones, copiers, and calculators. Work on computer for up to 8 hours per day. Some locations may require ability to climb or descend stairs with minimal assistance in emergency situations.
