The salary range for this position is $91,900 - $114,900 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks in the summer and July and December wellness/shutdown weeks for applicable positions.

As a Performance Marketing Motion Designer, you'll create compelling paid ads, with rich visual storytelling for multi-brand digital advertising campaigns. You'll collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team to develop eye-catching and memorable visual content that drives engagement and conversion.

POSITION SUMMARY
As a Performance Marketing Motion Designer, you'll create compelling paid ads, with rich visual storytelling for multi-brand digital advertising campaigns. You'll collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team to develop eye-catching and memorable visual content that drives engagement and conversion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute best-in-class, ROI-focused digital marketing for new product launches, evergreen campaigns and promotions in performance marketing channels that drive conversion.
- Interface directly with Performance Marketing Team to brainstorm and test/learn new concepts to drive value and increase conversion.
- Utilize motion graphics to create appealing social media graphics, gif and digital ads.
- Conceptualize and produce social content (video, stills, GIFs, etc.) as needed, including shooting, retouching, and guiding external agencies/creators.
- Work closely with Digital Designers in implementing engaging and dynamic motion solutions across brand sites.
- Work multiple projects concurrently and shift priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines, ability execute projects quickly and accurately.
- Maintain brand aesthetics and quality expectations across all mediums with careful attention to detail.
- Provide general design support on ancillary digital projects, as needed and partner with other digital creative team members during deadline crunches to complete high-profile priority projects.
- Research current design trends, social marketing, and competitor brands for future channel opportunities.
- Participate in creative brainstorms and share ideas focused on storytelling in motion.
REQUIREMENTS
- BA or BFA or equivalent experience with a focus on Digital Graphic Design, Motion Graphics or similar
- 5-7 years graphic design experience with 2-5 years in digital design focused on motion graphics or animation
- Expert knowledge of After Effects
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Figma a plus.
- Solid understanding of video editing, sound design and the ability to work with raw footage (trim, assemble, edit)
- Understanding and competency of animation concepts, video production and post-production, web design, and digital media
- Deep knowledge of the digital ad space and best practices, plus an interest in experimentation to meet growing trends
- Strong graphic design fundamentals (ex: typography, color theory, hierarchy, contrast, and grid/alignments)
- Solid organizational, detail-oriented and time management skills with the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to flex presentation skills while sharing out work to stakeholders.
