About this role:

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Business Enablement Leader to lead and drive business process efficiencies within Carrier Commercial Services. The selected candidate will lead a team to support business enhancement and improvements that create efficiencies and optimize current and future financial and operations tools and systems. The candidate will also act as a liaison between other departments such as HR and digital and lead specific efforts in upgrades as required to ensure quick ramp up time to minimize business disruptions. This role will lead a team in the participation of providing standardized modeling and analytic of monthly financial of branch metrics and participate with management to execute process improvement initiates to improve on those metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creates and implements strategically designed and formulated workflows and processes to enhance business operations for optimal use of resources and monthly business rhythms
  • Creates Standard Work documentation to ensure standards are met
  • Formulate, plans and teams to develop training material, and other activities to achieve world-class process flow
  • Oversees and directs process improvements efforts to ensure efficiency of business operations and cost effectiveness.
  • Consults with and strategically advises key business stake holders to ensure both internal and external customers' needs are met.
  • Support acquisitions efforts as required to drive compliance of current standards and processes
  • Create standardize tools to provide detailed financial valuations and critically evaluate business plans and forecast models
  • Assist Business Units with development of growth strategies; provide in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis through standardize reporting
  • Participate in special projects with other business partner to provide enhancements and upgrades to existing application to improve business operation effectiveness
  • Drive measurable improvements that support metrics for reporting to financial plans and other key KPI's (i.e., REV, EBIT, Utilization, DTB, DTI, Under/Over Billings, Cash flow, etc.)
  • Develop value stream maps for the organization that will eliminate process waste through implementation of lean techniques
  • Lead special project for system upgrades that involve direct impact related to ERP, HR and Digital enhancements for the betterment of business operation onboarding, reporting and business processes
  • Leading and growing a team to support business analytics that support and drive business success in achieving financial plans


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 + years of advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
  • 4 + years of experience in process and system enhancements in a corporate environment
  • 5 + years of work experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • 3 + years people management experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree with 5+ years of advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability.
  • Managing a remote team.
  • Oversight of functional teams/matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in HVAC industry and/or adjacent industries.
  • Proven success leading the identification and execution of business development initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures and partnerships.
  • Track record and demonstrated skill leading teams and communicating through influence both up and across complex, global organizations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including in-depth understanding of valuation methodologies.
  • Influencing up and across complex organizations
  • Leading business or functional teams and strong communications skills.
  • 2+ years of managing a P&L portfolio of $20 million+.
  • Successful incumbent must demonstrate behaviors aligned with The Carrier Way, including playing to win, achieving results, choosing speed, daring to disrupt.
