Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled a Linux System Administrator to serve on the operations support team in DTS, responsible for dataflow implementation from legacy to modern systems and monitoring implemented dataflows.

Required Skills:
  • Linux System Administrator
  • Running Security Scans
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence for documentation and Jira for workflow management and ticketing
  • Provisioning virtual machine resources utilizing AWS
  • TPAM for account management
  • Experience using OME for planned and unplanned outage coordination
  • Triage, track, collaborate on and facilitate Help Desk tickets
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Desired Skills:
  • Technical degree from an accredited college
  • Strong desire and willingness to learn
  • Ability to take initiative and drive through sound best practices and technical acumen
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with coworkers of varying skills, labor categories and competencies

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience. OR
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area). OR
  • A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience. OR
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.


*Note 1 - Examples of Qualified engineering fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.

*Note 2 - Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics.
