Divisional VP of Revenue Strategy - Concord Hospitality Enterprises

The Divisional VP of Revenue Management will be the strategic leader of revenue management strategy for a select portfolio of hotels within Concord. This position is accountable for the pricing, positioning, and inventory management of transient and group room revenue. Working with the sales strategy team and the VP of Revenue Strategy, you will oversee the associated processes with demand, forecasting, inventory management and opportunity analysis to develop and implement hotel sales strategies. You will identify future revenue opportunities and communicate strategies to sales organizations and property management.

Responsibilities:

Develop annual marketing plans, revenue, and pricing performance standards relative to market share, mix management, overall pricing, evaluating business growth by segments. You will educate hotels to these standards.

Oversee pre-opening sales and marketing checklist responsibilities.

Implement minimum quarterly portfolio topline revenue calls with all hotels, reviewing future pricing and direct sales opportunities.

Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis of company revenue and market share results, reporting findings to EVP Operations and Executive team.

Ensure hotels meet brand standards for reservation programs and ensure they make appropriate strategy changes as calendar year roles in reservations systems.

Work directly with Concord eCommerce Marketing Managers on company eCommerce strategies and implementations.

Maintain consistent communication with key brand revenue management leaders at brand corporate level or regional level where our hotels reside.

Maintain current revenue opportunity tools (displacement analysis) along with business applications department, ensuring hotels are using latest technology enabling them to make good revenue business decisions.

Maintain current knowledge of revenue trends based on company results as well as reporting from key hotel sources such as Smith Travel, PKF and like sources.

Be knowledgeable of Delphi New Market tools and resources, to maintain group and catering volume and pace reporting for analysis and revenue decisions

Provide field with minimum quarterly conference call or go-to-meeting training and development spotlight focus calls such as evaluating business, reading & understanding brand reports, STAR analysis, etc.

Maintain current list of Marriot contracted revenue managers and contracted expenses allocated to Marriott.

Maintain pace reports for non-Marriott brand hotels.

5-6 years of experience in a revenue leadership role with full service hotels, with Marriott brand hotels and a strong understanding of Marriott CI systems required.
