For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $99,200 - $125,000 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Lead Professional Band position is also eligible for a variable incentive bonus of 10%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Managing, preparing and submitting emissions calculations and regulatory reports as required by the Title V Air Permit
- Preparation and submittal of documentation and reports required by the facility RCRA Permit, EPCRA (Tier II and TRI), TSCA (CDR and import), and other EPA regulations
- Coordinating and supporting the preparation of major and minor source air quality permit applications
- NESHAP Compliance Management
- Coordinating and supporting the preparation of Air Quality Emissions Source Test Reports
- Managing LQG requirements to include hazardous waste determination, training, labeling, solid waste, and recycling and disposal processes to meet regulatory compliance
- Management of personnel supporting hazardous waste, solid waste, and recycling processes
- Managing DOT/IATA regulatory training for site and making shipping determinations
- Managing Hazardous Communication requirements and chemical approvals for site
- Interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Working with, and building relationships with environmental regulators and inspectors
- Project management and Continuous Improvement of Environmental Equipment and compliance processes, including auditing
- Support of Health and Safety Initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other relevant field is required (course work in Air Quality a plus)
- Minimum of 3+ years environmental experience including environmental compliance, industrial data collection and report preparation. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Demonstrated capabilities in understanding and applying USEPA and SCDHEC regulations to real-world situations
Desired Characteristics
- Experience and/or familiarity with the following regulations: construction and operating permits, MACT/BACT/LEAR compliance, PSD/NSR program, Knowledge of air monitoring or compliance source testing is also desirable.
- This position will also include multimedia (ex: water permitting, storm water, RCRA, and SARA reporting) compliance tasks, so previous experience in these areas are desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate scientific issues to technical and non-technical persons
- Experience with implementation and maintenance of an ISO14001 or equivalent EMS is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
