The Opportunity:
As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks-ultimately, how to "harness the cloud." We're looking for a DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions.

As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You'll sharpen your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients' meaningful missions.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across environments
  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues in CI/CD pipeline failures or latency
  • 3+ years of experience in working with Linux and troubleshooting and upgrading network configuration in RedHat, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux flavors
  • 2+ years of experience with basic SRE principles and guidelines
  • 2+ years of experience with Python automation and frameworks
  • Experience with troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving issues across many types of cloud infrastructure and working during an emergency or incident
  • Experience with developing enterprise cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, or CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with employing an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach to managing cloud environments and using Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience in working with GitOps tools, including Flux or ArgoCD
  • Experience with Python frameworks, including FastAPI and Typer, and Python, Pandas, and Boto3
  • CKAD or CKA Certification
  • AWS Certification, including Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Networking, or Security

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
