IT Infrastructure Engineer III

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
SUMMARY
The IT Infrastructure Engineer's purpose is to support the Bank business objectives and go forward initiatives by designing and managing the Enterprise IT network, storage and server infrastructure, private and public cloud infrastructure, and the security of the respective systems.
The ideal candidate will be require the ability to design, document, architect, implement, configure, manage, troubleshoot and/or maintain critical and complex solutions in a fast paces and dynamic environment. This incumbent will resolve complex and enterprise technical problems and will provide recommendations for new technology that may involve proof of concept implementations. The incumbent will perform efficient service ticket resolutions in an acceptable time frame. This position requires the ability to perform and multi-task in an ever-changing environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; a minimum of five (5) years of experience; applicable training and certifications or equivalent combination of education, certifications and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures. Ability to understand technical procedures, manuals, and effectively respond to questions from managers, vendors and peers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply simple math concepts to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers using a PC or calculator.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to identify technical problems, research and provide effective mitigation strategies and solutions such that incident resolution is executed in a timely manner and in accordance and compliance with service level agreements.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, a qualifying individual must have recent knowledge of the following technologies from industry leaders, including Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Silverpeak, Microsoft, VMware, Pure Storage, Citrix and Solarwinds.
A qualifying individual must have extensive knowledge of various Microsoft server operating systems, network protocols, enterprise security devices, and network security solutions.

Salary Range:$104,061.00 To 150,888.00 Annually

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
- Design, document, implement, configure, manage and maintain the enterprise's on premise and cloud-based network infrastructure
- Oversee the continuous, secure operation, performance, and evolution of the network and systems infrastructure
- Ensure projects and company initiatives are conducted according to enterprise IT and security requirements and standards
- Lead security-centric network and systems design, establishing and enforcing technology standards and assisting with all levels of network and server administration
- Innovate new technologies and support existing operations, while maintaining and improving security surrounding critical data and infrastructure
- Design, document, implement, configure, manage and maintain data center technologies, including but not limited to firewalls, network security devices, routers, switches and other network communication infrastructure devices.
- Design, document, implement, configure, manage and maintain the physical and virtual server infrastructure, storage solutions and enterprise backup environment.
- Design, document, implement, configure, manage and maintain an enterprise monitoring solution for the network, storage and server infrastructure.
- Ensure the IT infrastructure is properly monitored and alerts are addressed in a timely and thorough manner.
- Design, document, implement, configure, manage and maintain public cloud environments including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, IaaS, PaaS, containers and other public cloud services
- Participate in systems, network, and infrastructure development by recommending, designing, and implementing specific platforms and architecture changes to meet the company's objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve server and infrastructure configuration and/or performance irregularities. Develop procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner.
- Evaluate network and security technologies and develop security requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), SDWAN, virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security network devices.
- Design, implement, configure, manage and maintain the company's application delivery platforms and patch management program.
- Provide oversight and escalation support for the help desk.
- Oversee the execution and completion of assigned tasks.
- Provide technical direction and recommendations for infrastructure hardware/software and related technologies.
- Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
