Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center - Waukesha is seeking a board-certified surgeon, or individual who has completed residency training, to join our team at our multi-specialty referral center in Southeastern Wisconsin. A successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and eager to assist with our new surgical residency program.
Our surgery team sees a wide range of general soft tissue, oncologic and orthopedic surgery, and is also looking to grow the number of minimally invasive procedures performed.

About the hospital: WVRC is a VECCS level one certified hospital and VetCOT level 2 trauma center. Our broad range of specialists include those in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Rehabilitation, as well as a large team of emergency veterinarians, emergency trainees and rotating interns, dedicated technicians, and client-focused support staff. There is a full-time social worker on staff to support our team and clientele.
Our equipment and technology: WVRC is fully equipped with arthroscopic, laparoscopic, and thoracoscopic equipment, Force-Triad/ligasure, wound VAC, PRP centrifuge, and a full array of orthopedic and soft tissue instrumentation. A new arthroscopic tower dedicated to the surgery team was added in 2021. In addition, we have a full array of diagnostic equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
