National Trench Safety is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to bring a strategic approach to bringing new business, planning, progress management, and closeout of projects through effective marketing, communication, and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of potential opportunities, or long-term clients with private clients and general contractors and maintain contact/relationships in a professional manner
- Provide updates to existing customers on NTS product modifications, changes, and enhancements
- Leverage marketing data to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of sales calls and promotions
- Prepare reports for Sales Leaders and maintain expense accounts.
- Maintains and develops internal and external relationships with business and technical peers for assigned partners.
- Utilizes process to support development and maintenance of pipeline; prepares information for reporting to key stakeholders.
- Closes opportunities using predefined program frameworks or templates, as applicable.
- Assists with execution and deal management by communicating and reporting with stakeholders.
- Tracks blocking issues and works with deal stakeholders to drive resolutions.
- Supports post-deal governance and execution plans by working with internal and partner stakeholders across business and technical and operational teams and supports measurement of results by assessing progress with KPI-defined success metrics (e.g., revenue, volume of opportunities in the pipeline/channel).
- Develop conceptual estimates for projects
- Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontract.
- Manage early works equipment vendors/suppliers
- Manage early works subcontractors
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum (5) five years of experience and track record of success in outside sales, and account management
- Must have a valid driver license
