Job Summary:

Quixote by Sunset Studios is one of the largest companies in TV and Film physical production with operations in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Albuquerque. We are hiring a Manager of Sales to be responsible for all sales initiatives and sales development for Atlanta. The Sales Manager, Production Rentals is responsible for providing outstanding front-line service to all company clients. They are responsible for managing all production supplies & communications rental staff at the Atlanta location. They are responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while also expanding Quixote's client base through strategic sales efforts. The Manager, Production Rentals must be well-informed and knowledgeable of all opportunities in any given market and have a thorough knowledge of all pertinent information related to our business, the clients we service, and our competitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills in an environment that demands exceptional performance.

What You'll Do:
  • Accurately and efficiently manage, teach, and support the rental staff in bookings techniques, phone etiquette, equipment specs, and general production knowledge as needed to perform their tasks and process orders and quotes for customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the Vice President of Sales, Rental Agents, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of our services, products, and production acumen.
  • Proactively manage existing customer relationships and develop new customer relationships.
  • Oversee office staff and customers in opening accounts in our system and saving all paperwork for each account in the online shared database.
  • Negotiate pricing and discounts with all clients on production orders.
  • Work with operations team and third-party vendors to identify, quote, and negotiate sub-rentals as need arises.
  • Communicate customer requests, order changes and/or paperwork specifications to members of the floor staff and comms teams.
  • Plan and execute strategies for developing new products or services based on customer demand and market opportunity.
  • Help the Quixote marketing team in their marketing efforts for the Atlanta marketplace as needed.
  • Coordinate with operations team to design policies and processes that ensure clients have a smooth delivery or pickup experience at our warehouse.
  • Develop an industry and community outreach strategy that enhances Quixote's roots in the Atlanta film & television industry.
  • Stay abreast of all relevant industry trends, opportunities, and production activity in Atlanta.
  • Maintain a clean work area and clearly communicate to staff to do the same for their assigned areas.
  • Manage timecards and labor hours of Production Supply staff to reduce unnecessary overtime.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales and the Senior Vice President of Sales.


What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years' experience in the Atlanta Film/TV market specifically with location services experience
  • 5+ years' experience in sales
  • Strong relationships with below the line production crew such as production managers, production supervisors, and location managers
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, successfully manage accounts, work under pressure, and adapt to changes in the work environment We are an equal opportunity employer

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.

Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
