Radiology Physician

Medicus is collaborating with a hospital in western Kentucky with an opportunity for a skilled Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Details: * Schedule: 8a-5p, 14 on/14 off * Beeper call shifts required, 3-4 callbacks per week * Patient Volume: 10 per night * Facility: CT and cath lab work areas * 100% IR Cases: Vascular, DVTs, tissue biopsies (liver, lung, lymph node, bone, and bone marrow), occasional chest tube, drainages, kyphoplasty * PA supervision for some procedures * Support Staff: Full IR staff * EMR: Epic * Must be board-certified * Paid travel & expenses In your free time, you can enjoy live bluegrass music at a dedicated museum, stroll along a scenic riverfront park, and savor local barbecue at renowned eateries.
