Hospitalist Physician

Seeking a BE/BC Internal Med or Med Ped Hospitalist to join a team of exceptional providers. * Employed * Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery and well newborn nursery (for Med-Peds trained physicians), daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation, central line placement and thoracentesis * 7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week * ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends * Established team of 6 hospitalists * Anticipated Volume is 15-20 patients * Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC * System-wide integrated EMR EPIC * BLS and ACLS certifications required * Close proximity to and ability to live in nearby Greenville, NC * Competitive Compensation and Comprehensive Benefits to include: Administrative Stipend, Relocation, Paid Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice/Tail Coverage, 401k matching/457, Medical, Dental, & Vision, Disability & Life Insurance The Community: Nestled in eastern North Carolina, the city is a growing community that maintains the relaxed ambiance of Southern living.
