Ideal Candidate

  • Board Certified Orthopedic MD/DO with successful completion of a Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery (Total Joints) - required
  • At least one-year post-training experience preferred
  • Interest in a unique, rural practice in beautiful Southeast Alaska

Practice Highlights

  • Ketchikans unique setting lends itself to a variety of cases; all ages (mostly adult)
  • Good OR capabilities where extensive procedures can be done
  • 2 trained Casting Techs
  • Team of 2 surgeons and 1 PA with strong RN support and 1:1 MA support
  • Schedule consists of 3 clinic days and 2 OR days
  • Collaboration between OR and clinic is solid
  • Epic EHR

Our Trauma IV emergency department operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, staffed by physicians who are independent contractors employed by National Emergency Services (NES).
