Surgery - General Physician

My name is Jason Long with ProTouch Healthcare. I have a client in Northwestern Iowa looking for General Surgery coverage and call rotation. This assignment has strong potential for full-time conversion. Details : * ASAP start and ongoing assignment * Reason for Coverage: 3 of the 5 general-trauma surgeons have left the community due to retirement/relocation. * Dates of Coverage: Looking for 1 to 2 weeks per month ongoing while we recruit for perm. * Schedule: 24 hours on call + callback + rounding * Call Schedule: 7a to 7a Friday to Friday * Average Number of Trauma Surgical Cases Per Day: 1 * Trauma Level/Designation : Level 2 * Annual ER Volume: 25,000+ * Documentation System/EMR: Cerner powerchart * Description of OR Staff: Fully staffed * Patient Age Demographic: Primarily adult-geriatric. Practice Setting : * Hospital setting to include trauma/general surgery call * Will also round on current patients * There will also be a day or 1/2 day of clinic to see hospital follow up patients * The clinic is located in the hospital.
