Job Title: Machine Builder Job Description We are seeking skilled machine builders to build automated packaging machines through electrical and mechanical assembly. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and reading blueprints. Assemblers will work in teams to complete the machines from start to finish. Responsibilities Build automated packaging machines through electrical and mechanical assembly. Read and interpret blueprints throughout the assembly process. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Collaborate with a team of 4-6 assemblers to complete each machine. Ensure that each machine is built within an 8-12 week timeframe. Essential Skills 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, machine building, mechanic, maintenance, automotive, construction/trades, or farming. Proficient in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications A 9-month or 2-year technical degree or certification is preferred but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment All positions are on first shift, with regular hours Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. During 9-hour shifts, the hours are 6am to 3:30pm, and during 10-hour shifts, the hours are 6am to 4:30pm. The main product built at the Crosby plant is automated packaging machines for beverage manufacturing companies. The facility is clean, well-lit, and quiet, with a dress code of jeans and a t-shirt.
