Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description We are looking for Electro-Mechanical candidates with experience interpreting blueprints and schematics. You will be involved in full cycle assembly and testing. Responsibilities Hooking up and wiring harnesses, performing basic control panel work and installation, and troubleshooting breaker boxes. Installing machines and engines into platforms, building platforms using basic hand tools, and following assembly instructions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams, and torque charts. Reading Bills of Materials, understanding hardware and sizes, and performing general labor tasks. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and power tools. Mechanical assembly and electrical wiring experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics. Understanding of electrical diagrams, torque charts, and hardware specifications. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ months of assembly experience is ideal, but any kind of mechanical aptitude is valuable. Experience with electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Experience working with engines, whether professionally or as a hobby, is a plus. Why Work Here? Once direct, we pay for 80% of your health, dental, and medical insurance, and 78% for all dependents. This state-of-the-art 515,000 sq ft North American headquarters and manufacturing center is located in Olathe, Kansas. As part of a vertically integrated power generation manufacturer, you will be contributing to the engineering and manufacturing of diesel and spark-ignited standby and mobile generator sets.
