Responsibilities
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

Responsibilities
- Support lawyers in the Firm's legal departments, as a part of legal support team model
- Assist attorneys in the litigation department in all phases of litigation including, motion practice, discovery, trial and post-trial
- Assist with accurately editing and formatting of documents/pleadings, including motions and supporting memoranda, subpoenas, deposition notices, discovery requests and responses, affidavits, answers and agreements
- Preparing and processing electronic filings in federal and state court
- Assist in all phases of pre-trial activities including preparation of witness binders, organizing trial exhibits and coordinating depositions
- Maintain and organize the case files
- Monitor docket calendar and coordinate service of filings
- Maintain attorney calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, teleconferences, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate attorney travel schedules, transportation, and accommodations
- Provide excellent telephone coverage, manage high call volume, and distribute messages in a timely and appropriate manner
- Build client relationships by courteously communicating with clients and co-workers
- Work as part of a secretarial team and provide assistance to attorneys
- Assist in day-to-day duties such as faxing, filing, copying, messenger service, etc.
- Demonstrate the highest level of confidentiality with client and attorney information
- Prepare expense reports via Chrome River system and submit as appropriate
- Enter attorney time and review entries in Intapp
- Liaise with Client Operations team for Partner billing matters
- Prepare correspondence, client materials, and presentation materials
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5-10 years of administrative legal experience working within a litigation practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the litigation practice, including e-filing in federal and state courts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), comfort with technology and ability to learn programs/software
- Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
- Maintain composure in high-pressure situations and a fast-paced, multi-authority environment
- Multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Discretion when dealing with confidential matters
- Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
- Available to work overtime as needed
