We are interested in candidates that are excited to work on new projects from conceptualization through production. WHAT YOU’LL DODevelopment of payloads and subsystems for Space (sensors, payload interfaces, power management, and networking)Perform or supervise board layout, ensuring proper component placement, routing, and compliance with design standards.Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging toolsDevelop system interconnect diagrams, define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within a subsystem, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products by collaborating across disciplines, ensuring comprehensive integration and testing.Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews to ensure high-quality design standards through rigorous review processes and continuous improvement practices.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of demonstrated experience in a multidisciplinary environment, preferably in space systems or related fields.B.S. in Electrical or Computer EngineeringStrong organization and communication skills with ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.Experience performing board bring-up and schematic reviews, hands-on experience with PCB design, layout, and troubleshooting.Experience developing detailed technical drawings and documentationAbility to multitask, manage multiple projects and deadlines independently while maintaining high-quality work.Must be a team player and contribute to team success.Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Eligible to obtain and maintain a clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSchematic and layout design in Altium DesignerExperience performing PDN analysis, understanding power distribution networks and their optimization.Experience with differential pair routing and debuggingExperience with power circuit design and implementationProficient in soldering for prototyping and repairs.1+ years of experience in New Space, working in the commercial space sector.US Salary Range$138,000—$207,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
