Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professionals trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.ROLE The SPG Agency Strat team is looking to hire a highly motivated candidate at the Senior Associate/VP level for the Agency bond trading and collateral modeling businesses..The candidate will be responsible for overseeing and expanding various models, e-trading algorithms, and producing forecasts and analytics tools to improve trading, sales, and client workflows.Responsibilities:Research, develop, and deploy of MS prepayment/fundamental models.Strong collaboration with trading desk on trading ideas generation.Ownership and maintenance of desk and client facing projectsQualificationsStrong technical skills (Q/kdb, Python, SQL, Git) for statistical and econometric analysisAdvanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.2-5 years' experience in Structured ProductsExpected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 - $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
