This team provides various engineering and manufacturing services to LM programs, lines of business and external customers. The services include data acquisition component, systems design and development, laboratory and equipment provisioning services, real time and post flight data acquisition and processing, flight test parts manufacturing and aircraft modification services. Significant infrastructure management is included under the management of this team to include: laboratories, instrumentation installations, strain gage facilities, mission control rooms and associated mobile assets; enterprise level flight test software tools requirements development, tool development, maintenance and management. Manages the planning, pricing, scheduling, preparation, and execution of flight vehicle ground support and flight test airborne support to include: instrumentation laboratory and manufacturing requirements definition, and real time and post flight data processing needs, as required, to determine flight test vehicle compliance with specification and operational suitability. Responsible for the planning and forecasting of flight test related capital and information technology projects as required to meet the needs of the Aeronautics flight test team. This position will require the candidate to interface locally with ADP Leadership to include Program Directors, Flight Line & QA Leadership. Interface with DCMA and government representatives at the test installations may be required. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.Overtime, non-standard shifts, and weekend work will be required.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.**Must be a US Citizen. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week'The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $135,800 - $256,000.
